The Gaithersburg Cares Hub at Seneca Creek is a resource and service consolidation center serving families in the Greater Gaithersburg area. We provide food and essentials to families who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
C.A.R.E.S stands for:
Community: We care about ALL people in our community.
Assistance: We provide food, health and hygiene items, and infant/toddler supplies to those in need.
Resources: We connect people to other critical resources such as rent and utility assistance, and healthcare.
Engagement: We collaborate with organizations and community leaders in our area to ensure efficiency and efficacy.
Service: We rely on community volunteers and donors to get the job done.
The Cares Hub is an endeavor led by Seneca Creek Community Church and made possible through strong partnerships across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Through these partnerships and generous donations of money, supplies, and volunteers we serve 650 - 850 households per week.
